National Institute for Health and Care Research

Working with young people, families and communities to improve research.

Find out more about INSiGHTS

INSiGHTS are working collaboratively with young people, families and communities to develop innovative and inclusive ways to do research.

We are keen to learn more about groups of people who are currently not well represented in research, their mental health priorities and how they would like to share their experiences.

Our Vision

Our vision is to make mental health research more inclusive.

We do this by conducting research based on listening to the experiences of young people, families and communities.

We partner with local charities to develop creative methods, including things like art, music, drama and other creative approaches.

Partnership working

We are engaging with a range of young people, through our partners, and this is helping us to better understand what matters most to young people and what they think about involvement in research.
